Will chemotherapy make my pet sick?

The goal of chemotherapy is to help make your dog better but sometimes they can have a decreased white blood cell count or an upset stomach.

What are some common side effects of chemotherapy for dogs?

The side effects seen from chemotherapy in animals are much more mild and rare than what we know from human medicine. Stomach upset including diarrhea, vomiting and decreased appetite are the most common.
