Dog Vaccinations

Dog Vaccinations

Vaccines are an easy and effective way to protect our canine patients from serious and common diseases found in the environment. We provide yearly vaccination against Distemper-Hepatitis-Parvovirus-Parainfluenza (DHPP) and Leptospirosis. These are considered our “Canine Core” vaccines and we recommend them for all healthy adult dogs. Three year Rabies vaccines are available after the initial booster schedule.

What types of vaccinations do you offer for adult dogs?

We offer the ‘Canine Core” vaccines which are considered essential. Bordetella and Lyme vaccine for additional protection are also available.

Question: Is there a schedule for how often a dog should be vaccinated?

The age and previous vaccine history will influence the vaccine schedule.

Why is it important to vaccinate your dog?

It is important to vaccinate your dog so that your dog builds immunity against viruses and/or bacteria that can cause serious disease.
