X-ray and Ultrasound

A non-invasive procedure to detect abnormalities within the internal organs.

Diagnostic imaging is a great tool for identifying the cause of illness in cats and dogs. Our veterinarians are skilled in the acquisition and interpretation of x-rays.

What is the difference between a cat X-ray and a cat ultrasound?

An x-ray is a still image of your cat that is able to highlight changes in bone and some soft tissue. An ultrasound is real-time imaging/movies that allows us to see internal structures such as the heart, liver, kidneys etc.

Does the clinic also do feline dental X-rays?

Digital dental x-rays are available for patients undergoing dental procedures. The patient must be under general anesthesia to have dental x-ray’s performed.
